Bastions Arc Raiders, armored tank-gatling gun using Bastion Cells but they drop valuable Bastion cells

Arc Raiders Bastions can be one of most powerful robots. However, if your goal is to get Bastion Cells you must first kill these minibosses. They are hard to locate, because their spawns often overlap with those of the Bombardiers. However there is one place that they consistently appear at: Stella Montis. This guide will tell you where to look for Bastions to obtain their Cells. It also explains how to kill them and their weaknesses.

It's possible for Bastions to spawn anywhere, but so far the only place we've seen it is in the lower Loading Bay region of the central Arc Raiders Stella Montis maps. Each time I have been to the lower area, I always find one Bastion. You can easily shoot it at the higher levels as it's more difficult for it to get you. Although it can still shoot at you, there is a lot cover to hide behind and it is easy to retreat in order to heal and apply new shields. I've yet to find a more effective place in Arc Raiders to hunt them.
The canister and yellow joints located on the Bastion's back are their two main weaknesses. It's best to use explosives and armor-piercing weapons on both points, since they will cause the Bastion to be stunned, do major damage, and remove sections of armor. When you destroy the back canister of their bastion, it will reveal a large tank below that can cause significant damage.
Use heavy-duty weapons or fire attacks if you don't want the Bastion to be able to move away from areas on fire. Arc Raiders' weapons and equipment can be useful when hunting Bastions.

Check every single piece once the bastion has been destroyed. You can get the rare Bastion cells multiple times for each slain Bastion. So, if you don't check all pieces, you may end up with less than you deserve.
If you wish to upgrade to Level 3 of the Gear Bench, you'll be needing Six Bastion cell. If you aren’t sharing with anyone else, then you’ll need to fully harvest two Bastions.
